Legend of the Pendragon

Cade and his companions have reached the final reckoning. He must either rise to the promise of his birth and become the legend that prophecy foretold—or face the ultimate destruction of his people and his country. Legend of the Pendragon is the eighth and last installment in The Last Pendragon Saga.

The Unlikely Spy

August 1146. Prince Hywel has called all the bards of Wales to him for a music festival to mark the third anniversary of his rule over Ceredigion. He has invited all the lords of Wales too, including his father, his uncle, and his neighbor to the south, King Cadell. But with the highborn also come the low: thieves, spies, and other hangers-on. And when a murderer strikes as the festival starts, Gareth and Gwen are charged with discovering his identity–before the death of a peasant shakes the throne of a king. The Unlikely Spy is the fifth Gareth & Gwen Medieval Mystery.

The Fallen Princess

Hallowmas 1144. With the harvest festival approaching, Gareth has returned from fighting in the south, hoping for a few months of peace with Gwen before the birth of their first child. But when an innocent foray to the beach turns up the murdered body of Prince Hywel’s long lost cousin, a woman thought to have run away with a Dane five years earlier, it is Gareth and Gwen who are charged with discovering her killer. The trail has long since gone cold, or so Gareth and Gwen think, until their investigation threatens to expose dangerous truths that everyone else from king to killer would prefer to keep buried. No secret is safe, and no man, whether lord or peasant, can escape the spirit of Hallowmas in The Fallen Princess, the fourth Gareth & Gwen Medieval Mystery.

The Worthy Soldier

May 1147. Gareth and Gwen have traveled to Deheubarth in the retinue of Prince Hywel. The Prince of Gwynedd has temporarily allied himself with King Cadell and his Norman relations in order to finally evict the hated Flemings from south Wales. But while the battle goes well, the celebratory feast afterwards does not, leaving Gareth and Gwen among the few left standing. And it is to them, as always, that the investigation falls and on whom peace in Wales may well depend. The Worthy Soldier is the ninth Gareth & Gwen Medieval Mystery.

The Favored Son

November 1147. Gareth and Gwen have again been called to a castle belonging to Robert, Earl of Gloucester, this time by Prince Henry, who insists his uncle was murdered. Allying with Normans doesn’t come easily to Gareth and Gwen, but initial doubts are swept aside as more losses come to light. Because Robert’s death has upended the balance of power in England, friends and foes alike have a vested interest in keeping the truth from coming out, and it is up to Gareth and Gwen to stop the killer before he claims another victim–and maybe a country. The Favored Son is the tenth Gareth & Gwen Medieval Mystery.

Cold My Heart

Love. Magic. Faith. By the autumn of 537 AD, all who are loyal to King Arthur have retreated to a small parcel of land in north Wales. They are surrounded on all sides, heavily outnumbered, and facing near certain defeat. But Myrddin and Nell, two of the king’s companions, have a secret that neither has ever been able to face: each has seen that on a cold and snowy day in December, Saxon soldiers sent by Modred will ambush and kill King Arthur. And together, they must decide what they are willing to do, and to sacrifice, to avert that fate. Cold My Heart is the first book in the Lion of Wales series.

The Pendragon’s Quest

Although the dark forces of Arawn are defeated, the Saxons have massed on the border of Wales, aiming for nothing less than the complete subjugation of the Welsh people. But defeating an army of Saxons is only the first step Rhiann, Cade, and their companions must take if they are to stop Mabon from claiming dominion over the human world for all eternity. The Pendragon’s Quest is the fourth novella in The Last Pendragon Saga.

The Pendragon’s Challenge

With only four days until Cade is to be crowned High King of the Britons, the combined might of gods and men are set to prevent his ascension. Once again the companions are scattered as the struggle against dark forces—both old and new—threatens to overwhelm them. The Pendragon’s Challenge is the seventh novella in The Last Pendragon Saga.

Footsteps in Time

Anna is driving her aunt’s minivan with her brother, David, when she crashes through time and finds herself in the middle of an ambush of Llywelyn, the last Prince of Wales. It is December 1282, and the English have attacked, hoping to eliminate the Welsh rebels forever. Instead, the siblings save Llywelyn’s life and embark on a journey that transforms not only themselves but an entire world. Footsteps in Time is the story of what might have happened had Llywelyn lived … And what happens to the two teenagers who save him.

Masters of Time

June 1293. David, King of England. Philip, King of France. A holy war neither man wants to fight. A militant pope. A treacherous baron. A jealous brother. Love. Honor. Family. Betrayal. Destiny. Time Travel.

Refuge in Time

April 2022. When an unknown gunman sends David and William back to Earth Two, Michael and Livia are left gasping along with the rest of their universe. Accepting that their respective employers are possible suspects, not to mention untrustworthy, the pair band together in the shooting’s immediate aftermath, in an attempt to put the first few pieces of the puzzle together. But when an unexpected bout of time travel upends everyone yet again, Michael and Livia realize they are on their own, and this particular puzzle is one that they–and only they–can solve. Refuge in Time takes place concurrently with and immediately following the events of Champions of Time, the previous book in the After Cilmeri series.
