I’d like to introduce Lynn Hubbard, talking about her book, Chase the Moon. Welcome Lynn!
___________
Can you tell us a little bit about your book?
I just released a new book: Chase the Moon. It is my fourth Romance novel. It takes place in Mississippi 1886. Chase is traveling to attend his brother’s wedding and runs into Amelia on the train. Amelia is a glamorous city girl, she is intrigued by his charm and devotion to his family.
What about this story made you have to write it?
It is a continuation of my Historical Romance “Run into the Wind”. Chase’s character was introduced and my readers enjoyed him so much they demanded more.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned during the creation of this book?
Sequels are much harder to write than the original! I had to keep thumbing thru the original to make sure I had names, dates, colors, etc. correct.
What was the hardest part to write?
One of my characters died and I cried for three days. I wasn’t planning on it, it just happened.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
I like to travel! In fact I’m in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as we speak.
Can you share a little of what you are working on now?
I am researching the Revolutionary War. Hopefully it will end up being in my next book. The characters haven’t come to me yet but I have a general idea of where it’s going.
What advice would you give a new writer?
Believe in yourself. It is your book, you are in charge, don’t over-think it. Usually your first thought is the best.
Had a great time! Thanks Sarah!
